Hal retired, after 25 years, as the Sr. Pastor of non-denominational church in Troy Michigan.  He has an earned Master's degree in Counseling and was licensed in Michigan as a Licensed Professional Counselor.  Before his retirement he maintained a private practice in addition to his pastoral responsiblities.  Following his retirement he and Christine moved to California.  After enjoying his retirement for 6 months Hal obtained his Real Estate Sales license and joined a mortgage company in Canyon Lake, California.  That was the beginning.  Today, Hal Ballew is the Broker of HomeLoans Inc. a company he and his wife, Christine, founded in 1998.  Their goal was simple; build the best mortgage company in Southern California, with an emphasis on client service.  In the following years HLI has grown into a larger company.  We have over 30 Loan Consultants and Broker Associates at HLI.  With three offices in Southern California and one in Northern Michigan. But the goal remains the same: take care of the client.  Why?  Simple Hal replies, "if you don't take care of your client, someone else will!"
